Tubbs Journey 25 W snowshoes are ideal for long winter hikes. They are lightweight and provide excellent grip in the snow thanks to their durable buckles. The Journey model features durable Cobra™ buckles in the front and Tubbs heel buckles in the back. These buckles, which act as pivot points, provide strong grip in the snow even on steep and uneven terrain. The Journey 25 W bindings also feature foldable heel plates. This system prevents the snowshoes from falling out completely, reducing the strain on the foot and providing better stability and control on steep slopes. The 180™ EZ bindings have a simple and intuitive adjustment and release mechanism that makes the snowshoes easy to put on and take off, even with frozen toes. The history of the Tubbs brand began in 1906 in Norway, USA, where Walter F. Tubbs began producing snowshoes. The boots, originally made of white ash, are now available in aluminum and durable composites. Since then, snowshoes have continuously evolved and improved. Tabs was a pioneer in the American snowshoe industry and remains a market leader.
